| This
series of nudes and partial nudes attempt to blend eroticism, strangeness,
and sensuality. In some of these images, I am interested in exploring
a relationship between the living human form and the inanimate nature
of sculpture. To that end, I have experimented with applying various materials
to the skin. I also aim to create some ambiguity within the viewer, to
feel seduced on the one hand, and disturbed or unsettled on the other.
Some of these images aim to be confrontational, some playful, and some
a bit edgy. |
